Singapore has got to be one of the cleanest countries in Southeast Asia and also one of the more expensive countries we’ve visited. That could be all their fines they have. One of the fines I remember is that you can get fined for chewing gum. Well aside from that it a nice country to visit. We visited Singapore as a side trip from Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia. It’s about a 3 hour drive and the views driving to Singapore are great. So much to see and learn.
We cross the bridge from Malaysia to Singapore and make our way through immigration. Immigration going to Singapore is a lot better than Thailand’s immigration. Thailand you have to park your car and stand in line until it’s your turn to get your passport stamped. Singapore you just drive up and it’s all done while you sit in your car. First thing I saw after immigration was this sign saying “Welcome to Singapore”. Singapore has some of the neatest architecture that I’ve seen.
This building, I’m guessing is condos looks so cool. I just want to sit on one the balcony and drink a beer. The weather in Singapore is so hot and humid, that you can sweat just standing still. So if Singapore is on your to go list bring plenty of shorts and tank tops.
I’m quite amazed on how many buildings they can cram together in what seems to be a small town.
On top of Marina Bay Sands, the boat looking part I heard has a huge pool and restaurant. The rest of the building is a hotel, casino, mall, and many other shops.
This is a nice picture of town from a space needle ride we went on. You can see a long ways from up here.
